Unutterably beautiful.  Those are the words that came to me this morning as I walked in the frost among some budding magnolias and tulips, and the sun rose.

‘Unutterably’ meaning it can’t be expressed.  Yet I am trying to express it.  What is it about beauty and loveliness that we want to express them?  Why not just enjoy them.

There is a deep need and desire to express.

Psalm 8 says: ‘From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise…’  Even young children express praise.  They squeal with delight, they giggle, they sing.

Praise is something we are all called to do, created to do.

So let’s revel in God’s sunshine.
